It’s that time of year again when food lovers will be rubbing their tummies in anticipation of the fabulous Love Food Festival.
The 2013 edition of the Love Food Festival will take place at Brunel’s Old Station between Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March.
What better way to celebrate the start of Spring that with a gastronomic feast? The Saturday leg runs from 10.30am to 6pm while on Sunday delicacies are available from 11am to 5pm.
The event is now in its fourth year and attracts the best chefs and producers from the surrounding regions.
This years’ highlight will be The Demonstration Theatre which will showcase tasty talent including the ‘The Devilled Egg Kitchen Academy’.
Look out for Tim Maddens, the Head chef at ‘River Cottage HQ’, who regularly appears alongside Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on our television screens.
Emma Grazette of Channel 4’s ‘Spice Trip’ will be sharing her infectious love of all things spice.
She said: “I Love the Love Food Festival ethos and share the want to bring food back to the people – producers and passionate foodies in whatever way. Bristol is a fantastically vibrant and diverse city with a great food culture.”
Tickets are a mere £3 for adults with concessions available at £1.50 and children getting in free.
